People that are ‘subjected for self-quarantine’ surveiled at risk of virus infection.

Each district in Seoul has different procedures for quarantine.
During the self-quarantine period, the most important rules are 'Self-monitoring' and 'NO leaving the residence.'
Self-monitoring, which is measuring the body temperature, is done at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. every day. This procedure examines if there are any infection symptoms. You must not forget to self- monitor yourself during the quarantine period.
Leaving the quarantine site is an unacceptable criminal act. If an act of deviation is exposed, then a prison term of up to one year or a fine of up to 10 million won will be imposed following relevant laws. Civil liability for damages may follow if the deviation causes national damage, such as the spread of additional infections.
Suppose your phone's GPS is not detected for a long time without permission or with a safety app installed. In that case, the app will make a loud noise and a warning saying, "Please check if you’re out of the quarantine site."
If a person violates isolation measures and leaves the area, he/she must wear a “wrist safety band” linked to the safety protection app. And, if he/she refuses to do so, facility isolation can be performed.
At this time, the person has to pay for the facility isolation. Under the Immigration Control Act, foreign nationals may be given disadvantages such as forced eviction or entry into the country.
During the self-quarantine period, it is difficult for foreigners to follow and understand all the policies alone. You will definitely need someone to guide you to complete all the procedures properly. For this reason, getting help from the Quarantine Agency may be one way if you don’t know any acquaintance living in Korea that knows all the policies specifically.
